At Natya-Shastra.in, our mission is to make authentic knowledge of Indian performing arts accessible through courses, educational resources, and digital learning tools.
Because most of our offerings are digital and grant immediate access upon purchase, we request that you read this Refund Policy carefully before completing your purchase.
1. Digital courses and downloadable content
All paid courses, digital downloads, recorded workshops, documents, PDFs, and other downloadable learning materials sold through Natya-Shastra.in are considered digital products.
Once access has been granted or content has been downloaded, purchases are generally non-refundable.
This includes:
- self-paced online courses
- recorded lectures
- downloadable notes or PDFs
- premium tools and resources
- digital memberships
2. Eligibility for refund
A refund may be considered only under the following situations:
a) Duplicate payment
If you were charged more than once for the same product or service, we will refund the duplicate amount.
b) Technical access issues
If you cannot access purchased content due to a technical issue originating from our platform, and our team is unable to resolve it within a reasonable time.
c) Incorrect purchase caused by system error
If a platform or checkout error caused an unintended purchase.
Approved refunds are issued only after verification.
3. Live workshops, webinars, and events
For live online or offline workshops:
- cancellation more than 48 hours before the event: eligible for refund or credit
- cancellation within 48 hours: non-refundable
- if Natya-Shastra.in cancels the event, a full refund or reschedule option will be offered
4. Memberships and subscriptions
If Natya-Shastra.in introduces memberships or recurring subscriptions:
- you may cancel future renewals anytime
- already processed billing cycles are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
Access remains active until the end of the paid billing period.
5. Course completion and partial usage
Refunds are not issued when:
- a substantial portion of a course has been accessed
- lessons have been viewed/downloaded
- certificates have been issued
- the user changes their mind after purchase
6. Chargebacks
Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting us may result in:
- suspension of course access
- account review
- permanent account restriction in repeated cases
We encourage all learners to contact us first so we can help resolve the issue quickly.
7. Refund processing time
If approved, refunds are processed within 7–14 business days, depending on your payment provider or bank.
